As part of the reconnaissance and preparatory mission related to the Ivorian national team’s participation in the upcoming World Cup, the delegation of the Ivorian Football Federation (FIF), led by FIF President Yacine Idriss Diallo, continued its activities in the United States on Friday.
After visiting the various sites selected for the competition, including the Elephants’ training camp as well as match and practice fields, the delegation went to Washington, D.C., to meet with the Ambassador of Côte d’Ivoire to the United States, His Excellency Ibrahima Touré.
The meeting was part of institutional coordination regarding the arrival and stay of the Ivorian national team on American soil. President Yacine Idriss Diallo presented to the Ambassador the Elephants’ arrival program and outlined the main logistical arrangements planned to support the national team during the competition.
The discussions also addressed measures to ensure the best possible conditions for the Ivorian delegation’s reception and stay, while strengthening collaboration between the Ivorian diplomatic mission in the United States and the Federation.
