Women’s Football: OL Lyonnes Win the LFFP Cup Against PSG (1–0) in Abidjan

Olympique Lyonnais Féminin won their first trophy of the season after defeating Paris Saint-Germain Féminines 1–0 on Saturday, March 14, 2026, in the final of the LFFP Women's League Cup, played at the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny in Abidjan.

In a match largely controlled by the Lyon side, the Lyonnes—still unbeaten this season—imposed their rhythm against the Parisians on the Abidjan pitch. Despite several attempts during the first half, the Rhône-based team had to wait until after halftime to break the deadlock.

The decisive moment came in the 59th minute following a well-constructed team move. Receiving the ball inside the penalty area, Haitian forward Melchie Dumornay found the back of the net, giving her team the crucial lead.

Solid defensively until the final whistle, the Lyonnes managed to hold onto their advantage to secure this first title of the season, confirming their excellent run of form.
