Côte d’Ivoire: AfDB Reaffirms Support for the 2026–2030 National Development Plan

On Friday, following a meeting with Côte d’Ivoire’s Vice President, Tiémoko Meyliet Koné, the President of the African Development Bank, Sidi Ould Tah, praised the country's strong economic performance.

He reaffirmed the AfDB’s commitment to mobilizing financial resources to support the implementation of Côte d’Ivoire’s 2026–2030 National Development Plan (PND). He also highlighted the planned establishment of a Pan-African Guarantee Mechanism through the recapitalization of the African Trade & Investment Development Insurance, with the aim of strengthening investment security, reducing financial risk, and facilitating development financing across Africa.
