First Lady Dominique Ouattara Highlights Women’s Leadership and Solidarity at Global Summit in Marseille
On Monday, July 6, 2026, First Lady Dominique Ouattara attended the second edition of the Global Leadership by Women Summit in Marseille, where she served as patron of the international event dedicated to women’s leadership and women’s commitment to building a more inclusive and supportive world.
During the summit, she shared her experience on the theme of “generosity and vision for the benefit of future generations,” an approach that has guided her actions for many years.
In her speech, First Lady Dominique Ouattara emphasized that success only gains its true meaning when it is placed at the service of others. She recalled that this conviction led her to create the Children of Africa Foundation in 1998 and to dedicate her efforts to improving the living conditions of vulnerable women and children.
“I thank the organizers of the Global Leadership by Women Summit 2026 for their invitation, as well as all participants for the quality of the discussions,” she said.
She reaffirmed her belief that when generosity is driven by a strong vision, it has the power to transform lives and contribute to building a better future for generations to come.
