Official Launch of the Government Call Center “Allo 101”: “It’s a Center for Fostering Proximity”, Declares Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé

The government’s “Allo 101” is a center for fostering proximity, affirmed Prime Minister Dr. Robert Beugré Mambé on Friday, September 12, 2025, in Abidjan‑Cocody Bonoumin. He was presiding over the formal opening of “Allo 101,” a free government call center available seven days a week, aimed at enabling citizens to access information on public services, report incidents, verify information, and offer suggestions.

“The government’s Allo 101 is a center for promoting closeness, efficiency, and swift action. In truth, we have wished for this center, we have obtained it, and we want it to serve all Ivorians. There should be no barrier between the people and the government through this center,” said Robert Beugré Mambé.

“What is interesting,” the Prime Minister continued, “is that this center allows users to speak in 17 languages: two international and 15 national languages.”

He recalled that the will of the President of the Republic, Alassane Ouattara, through the government’s actions, is reflected in listening, being close to the population, and responding to their concerns.

Given the importance of this center, the Head of Government called on users to make good use of it: “It is not for spreading false news, hoaxes, or misinformation. It is for saving lives, for alerting, and for acting. That is why I wish to ask our compatriots to use it properly.”

On this occasion, the Prime Minister extended the congratulations of the Head of State and his own to Awa Dosso, Director of the Government Information and Communication Center (CICG), the body in charge of managing the Allo 101 call center.

“I want to congratulate Ms. Awa Dosso because she works in a discreet but effective manner, humbly yet visibly. And the results are there because every morning she signals the level of alert to us. That is the New Ivorian. In congratulating Ms. Dosso, I also mean all the agents who support her,” he said.

As one of the main architects of this call center, the Minister of Communication and Government Spokesperson, Amadou Coulibaly, urged citizens to take ownership: “At a time when the social fabric of our country is threatened by false information spreading across social networks, I want to invite our compatriots from all socio‑professional backgrounds: youth, women, elders, employees, students, traders, farmers, to get used to Allo 101, a fully free interactive call center made available to them.”

However, he warned, technical measures have been put in place to block those who abuse the number or make frivolous calls.
