At the end of the two-day Consultative Group meeting dedicated to financing the 2026–2030 National Development Plan (NDP), marked by the exceptional mobilization of US$80 billion, equivalent to approximately CFA 47.82 trillion, from development partners and strong financial commitments from private investors, Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé expressed the State's gratitude to all donors for their renewed confidence in Côte d'Ivoire.
The closing ceremony was held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at the Sofitel Abidjan Hôtel Ivoire.
"These two days were marked by high-quality discussions and significant commitments. We can be proud of the results achieved. The commitments announced by our development partners, the financial commitments expressed by investors, and the number of meetings organized demonstrate the confidence placed in our economic environment. In this regard, on behalf of the President of the Republic, I would like to express our deep gratitude to all donors, technical and financial partners, and all investors who have demonstrated their confidence in us. This significant commitment and this exceptional mobilization of financing are a source of honor and responsibility as we move forward," said Robert Beugré Mambé.
According to the Prime Minister, "this Consultative Group for the financing of the 2026–2030 National Development Plan will remain a landmark moment in Côte d'Ivoire's development journey."
"United around a common ambition, we have successfully brought together the vision of the State, the commitment of our multilateral partners, and the extensive experience of the private sector," he said. He also highlighted several priority economic sectors targeted by investors' expressions of interest, including road infrastructure, mining and energy, agriculture, human capital development, and digital transformation.
He stated that Côte d'Ivoire's ambition is to transform every commitment into an instrument of sustainable transformation and every investment into a driver of value creation, economic growth, and social progress. This is why, he continued, the institutional framework responsible for monitoring the 2026–2030 National Development Plan will be fully mobilized to ensure rigorous monitoring of commitments made, guarantee the swift implementation of projects, and ensure compliance with the obligations of all parties involved.
The first day of the Consultative Group meeting was dedicated to technical and financial partners. The second day, focused on investment, recorded a record participation of more than 1,000 investors from 49 countries across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and America.
This second day aimed to strengthen the mobilization of private investment, which is expected to contribute 70.2% of the financing of the National Development Plan, whose total estimated cost stands at CFA 114.8385 trillion.
