Oxford University MBA Team Chooses Ivorian Entrepreneur Jean-Jacques Koffi as Official Sportswear Partner

Ivorian entrepreneur Jean-Jacques Koffi signed a partnership in May 2025 with the Saïd Business School of the University of Oxford, UK, to become the official sportswear supplier for its MBA team. With his brand FLEXX, Oxford proudly won the MBA Tournament (MBAT) championship, showcasing sportswear designed in Africa—a powerful and symbolic moment for global diversity in the sportswear sector.

This collaboration reflects the shared commitment of the brand and Oxford University to excellence, diversity, and leadership. The custom-made outfits, crafted from high-performance and sustainable materials such as recycled polyester and eco-friendly breathable fabrics, pay tribute to Oxford’s academic and athletic heritage.

The sportswear combines technical innovation, comfort, and precise tailoring to meet the high standards of the MBAT. Through this partnership, the Ivorian entrepreneur demonstrates his ability to blend functional rigor with creative expression on an international stage.

“This partnership with Oxford University for the MBAT goes far beyond visibility opportunities: it is a clear affirmation of the potential for African brands to compete among the best,” said Jean-Jacques Koffi.

He adds that through this collaboration, Africa proves it can stand out in both design and performance excellence.

“This brand embodies creativity, cultural confidence, and forward-looking energy—qualities that deeply resonate with Oxford’s spirit and the ambitions of our students. This collaboration celebrates African excellence and fully aligns with our school’s vision: building bridges between continents, industries, and perspectives,” said Tammy Brophy, Head of the Africa Initiative at Saïd Business School.

Often described as the future “African Nike,” FLEXX is considered by many as the most promising African sportswear brand. This vision is proudly carried by its founder, Jean-Jacques Koffi, a successful entrepreneur and Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree.

“Thanks to this partnership, we have been able to embody our shared commitment to diversity, bold leadership, and high performance,” said Amy Major, MBA Program Director at Saïd Business School.

This collaboration strengthens the brand’s mission to redefine global sportswear standards by combining innovation with design inspired by African culture.

FLEXX continues to pave the way in the industry through its unique approach.
