African Development Bank Presents First 100 Days Results to Côte d’Ivoire

On Thursday, Sidi Ould Tah, President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), met with President Alassane Ouattara. During the meeting, he presented the results of his first 100 days at the head of the institution, marking the beginning of a new dynamic between the AfDB and Côte d’Ivoire.

The AfDB President also discussed the new African financial architecture, a framework aimed at strengthening resource mobilization for the continent’s development. He emphasized the importance of a new type of partnership, more programmatic and strategic, designed to align the Bank’s actions with the country’s economic and social priorities.

This meeting reflects the commitment of Côte d’Ivoire and the African Development Bank to strengthen their cooperation, focusing on structuring projects and ensuring more effective monitoring of financial interventions within the country.

Through this new approach, the AfDB aims to provide more targeted support for the implementation of Côte d’Ivoire’s economic and social development plan, while consolidating its role as a strategic partner for Africa.
